As a child, Dr Silas was drawn to biology and knew from an early age that health care was where he wanted to further his studies. He loves bringing a smile to someone’s face. Whether it’s by helping a patient with a toothache or supporting them to smile with confidence, Dr Silas loves helping others. He prides himself on the quality of his work and on maintaining his patients’ comfort throughout dental procedures.
Dentistry is a career that requires lifelong learning, and Dr Silas goes above and beyond to ensure that he is continually upgrading his skills. He takes professional development courses two to three times a year as he wants to give his patients the very best in dental care. In addition, Dr Silas has taken restorative, adhesive and CEREC (same-day ceramic restorations) dentistry courses.
Dr Silas Prashant graduated from India with his BDS in 2001. Looking for a better balance between work and family, he relocated to Australia and took the Australian Dental Council Examination. Dr Silas has been a member of the Australian Dental Association since 2007 and stays updated with the latest technology and methods to better provide care to you.

Dr Silas was very understanding of the situation and explained in detail all viable options going forward. My dental procedure was, in my mind significant but he had a clear plan and the results are brilliant. He is incredibly experienced and has a calm, pleasant demeanor that instantly puts you at ease. He gave my teeth a thorough check-up and provided cost-effective solutions. I was previously refered to a prosthodontist which asked me to do 6 crowns. I am glad I have my teeth checked up by him and gave me a 2nd opinion. What impressed me the most was that I was able to get an immediate teeth cleaning right after my consultation. The dental hygienist, Himesha, worked her magic—my teeth and gums felt super clean after the treatment, yet there was no discomfort at all. The reception staff was friendly and efficient, quickly preparing my quote. The office itself was spotless and well-presented. I highly recommend this dental practice! Dr Ahmed removed my wisdom teeth explaining the whole process to calm my nerves- and Lily is a sweetheart for holding my hand through it (yes I’m in adult haha).
